The room itself was quiet. Breakfast offered GREAT value. The metro was less than five minutes away so transport was easy.
The elevator experienced a breakdown. This forced a climb to a high floor. The reception staff member was sleeping behind the counter upon departure.

the recently renovated rooms were fantastic. the bathroom was especially nice. it featured modern fixtures and great lighting. the location was also a huge plus, being so close to the bastille metro station. i found it easy to get around the city. the staff was also helpful. i appreciated their assistance with directions and recommendations.
the pillow was quite flat. i did find it difficult to get comfortable at night.

The room was clean. The bed provided GREAT comfort with quality linens. I also appreciated the effective air conditioning . The breakfast offered fresh fruit, baked goods, and a variety of cheeses. I found the location very convenient. It was close to the Bastille metro station. Several restaurants and cafes are nearby on Rue Saint-Antoine. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Ernesto was particularly helpful and friendly. The hotel's decor was beautiful and provided everything I needed.
The elevator experienced a brief outage, but it was quickly resolved.
